Hi there!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alvis Pham and I am the founder of AP Photography and now co-founder of Paper Birch Collective.
I recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine and I've been doing what I love ever since. I still find myself going to remote locations to take landscape photos whenever I get the chance and I recently picked up film photography!

Very happy to meet you! I'm Norbert Tsi and I am the founder of Norbert Tsi Photography and now the proud co-founder of Paper Birch Collective!
Before getting into wedding photography and film making, I trained as a documentary photographer and lent my talents to publications near and wide. I love capturing that magical moment and weddings are full of them!
"Wait what? How young are you guys?" Those are probably some of the most frequent questions we get when talking to new clients, it's still hard to believe that just handful of years ago we were a broke college students trying to find our place in the world. We met by a chance encounter on a local Facebook group. Our relationship blossomed the moment we got together and talked for a couple hours about cameras and photography; from then on, we've been working together ever since!

Before all the weddings, engagements, and other shoots I do now, I started off with graduation shoots. Luckily it was around graduation season when I bought my camera. A dozen or so graduation photo shoots later I realized how much I loved doing photography and I knew that I wanted to make it my career. I knew the journey wasn't going to be easy, but that didn't matter because as long as I was behind a camera, I was happy. I offered to shoot weddings & engagements for free to build my portfolio, built a website, and spent all my free time trying to become better than I was the day before. I followed my passion without thinking twice and it has taken me around the world all while allowing me to witness one of life's most beautiful moments.
Norbert
I've always been chasing after that perfect image that brings together storytelling and art. It all started back in high school when I borrowed a camera from the photography teacher and snapped a photo of my friend running down the hall in a tux with a cello in his hand. I later submitted that image to a photo competition that the school paper was running and I won! Ever since then, I've been in love with photography and have taken photos of anything and everything, while enjoying every moment of the learning process past, present, and future. Although I have been in the photography world for almost ten years, there's always something different to see and new memories to make. So let's make some memories!

We love to do personal projects along with our work! We never go anywhere without our trusty cameras, even though we've been working nearly 24/7 for the past couple years to build ourselves to be the premier friendly neighborhood photographers and videographers.
Our team, based in Santa Ana and serving all of Southern California and beyond, is addicted to adventure and new experiences while staying on the cutting edge of our craft.
