All I Want for Christmas is You ~ Lip Dub BEHIND THE SCENES

In this blog we will discuss the making of our Christmas lip dub! Our team had a blast jamming out to Mariah Carey's song "All I Want for Christmas Is You". Be sure to watch it above. Please give it a like, comment, and subscribe for more PBC hijinks.

The Inspiration

Our team was inspired by lip dub done by the iconic TV show "The Office". Truly the best intro ever! We love how silly it is and the way it was filmed to look like it was taken in just one shot. Our lip dub was also filmed to look like one shot (there are just about 10 shots in our video).

How We Got Into the Christmas Spirit

Firstly, we decorated the whole office with lights, both warm and colorful, some ornaments, and handmade bows. But before decorating, we went on a little holiday decoration shopping spree! Watch the mini vlog HERE.

From all the wrapped presents to the two turtle doves in our tree, the office transformed into the most coziest and Christmas-y place. We also bought Christmas/holiday themed sweaters for the team to wear in the lip dub.

The Filming Process

We filmed the lip dub on two different days due to the team's busy schedule. The entire lip dub was filmed at our office/studio. We started on the outside of the office building, made our way through the lobby, desk area, photo studio, and back to the lobby. Each shot took about two to five takes. It was not easy to plan and film, but it sure was worth the fun! Check out this BTS clip captured by Jesse's little camera during the filming of the lip dub. If you watch the video closely, you can see him recording starting at 1:49. Also, it's so funny hearing everyone sing along while we filmed (FUN FACT: actually singing it looks more real than lip syncing). This behind the scenes footage really captures the fun chaos from the day so well.
